Provision of the website (hosting) and access data

This website is provided via Vercel. When you access it, technically necessary connection data is processed so that the website can be delivered, protected and checked for errors. This may include in particular your IP address (the internet address of your device), the time of access, the address accessed (URL), the amount of data transferred, and browser and device information. The processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and functioning operation).

More information on data processing by the provider (Vercel) can be found in the Vercel privacy policy. The specific storage period depends on the applicable settings and retention periods of the hosting.

Cookies and visitor statistics (audience measurement)

As things currently stand, this website does not set its own cookies (small files in the browser) for analysis or advertising, and it does not use any visitor statistics or advertising services.

Promptikus and AI improvement (draft – to be checked)

If you click “Cast prompt”, “Improve further” or “Roll a new idea” in Promptikus, your idea, your optional background, a chosen template and, when improving further, the previous prompt together with your request are sent via this website to Anthropic PBC (USA) and processed there by the AI Claude. Your IP address is not passed on to Anthropic in the process. According to Anthropic's terms, such data is not used to train the AI; storage periods and details are governed by Anthropic's privacy policy. Without a click, your input does not leave your browser.

To limit misuse and costs, this website stores for each request an encrypted short value (hash) of your IP address together with the time; these entries are deleted after 24 hours. For each improvement, an entry without your texts is also stored: a random identifier, the recognised task type, the version of the improvement rules, the model used, the length and checksum (hash) of the generated prompt, the result of the automatic form check, and the time. Your idea, your background and the prompt itself are not stored.

If you voluntarily rate a prompt (“Does this prompt help you?”), we store your rating, your optional comment and the time together with the random identifier of the entry. This helps to improve Promptikus. Please do not write personal data in the comment. Possible legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of the improvement you requested) or lit. f (protection against misuse, improvement of the service); for ratings, your voluntary information. Transfer to countries outside the EU (third-country transfer), e.g. via the standard contractual clauses issued by the EU. Storage period for entries and ratings: still to be defined.

Email contact

If you write to the email address provided, the information you send is processed to handle your message. The message is transmitted and stored via the email services used by you and by me. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR; for pre-contractual enquiries, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR may apply. The data is deleted as soon as the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations prevent it.
